Some time ago as usual i was checking whats happening in Linux world and on HowToForge (its a great site btw) i found that article How To Harden PHP5 With Suhosin (Debian Etch/Ubuntu). I decided to look some further into the PHP security issue and yes there are numerous flaws in the PHP servers ;). But most of them are produced by not skilled programmers who create vulnerable code. Overall that would most likely fit my situation since i classify my self as a “recreational PHP programmer. So what i did? I followed the how to and re-compiled my PHP in order to harden my PHP… The result ? Who knows, maybe i am more secure now :)
